Confidentiality charter

The purpose of this confidentiality charter is to explain the manner in which your data is collected, processed and secured during the use of the GuestBooster platform, and to formalise our commitment with respect to your data.

    Guaranteeing the security of the data that you enter on GuestBooster is our top priority! Our objective is to provide a fully confidential and good quality service in order to protect all of your data and personal information. GuestBooster has access to your e-mail address as well as some information about your events, and we are well aware that this involves a high level of responsibility. Therefore, we make every effort to ensure that this data is stored in a completely secure manner.

  2. Protection of your data

    GuestBooster is responsible for the processing of data that is personal in nature (hereinafter referred to as “Personal Data”) used on the website (hereinafter referred to as the “Site” or the “GuestBooster Platform”).

    This Charter describes the measures taken for the use and management of your Personal Data during the use of the services available on the GuestBooster Platform, and your rights as a User of these services in relation to the use of this Personal data.

    All the Personal data collected by us will be processed in accordance with the European and Belgian regulations applicable to the protection of personal data, mainly Directive 2002/58/EC, amended by Directive 2009/136/EC, transposed in Belgian law by the law of 15 December 1999 on the protection of privacy, the law of 13 June 2005 called “Law relating to electronic communications”, amended by the law of 10 July 2012, as well as with the rules specific to the sending of commercial communications, as stated in Book VII of the Code of Economic Law.

  4. Data likely to be collected

    When you use the Site, we may need to collect information (including Personal data) in several ways:

    Interactive use: Personal data collected directly during your registration

    Access to the GuestBooster Platform requires identification using a password so that no other user can access your data without your prior consent.

    During your registration on the Site, you shall be required to enter the following data:

    • First name
    • Title
    • Address
    • E-mail
    • Mobile or landline number
    • Postal address for invoicing
    • VAT number, if applicable

    Browsing the Site: information collected through technological tools

    Connection data. When you use the Site, in an interactive or non-interactive manner, our computer systems may collect passive data like your IP address (Internet Protocol), MAC address of your computer, date and time of login as well as your browser.

    Browsing data. We also use cookies in the context of both an interactive and non-interactive use of the Site. These cookies generally store information related to your browsing the Site (pages viewed, time spent on each page, search criteria used, etc.).   5. Purpose of processing data

    The Personal data that we collect, directly and/or indirectly, is processed for the following purposes:

    • your identification as User of the services offered on the Site;
    • communication with us;
    • execution and improvement of our services.

    The personal information entered during your registration or later, as well as all the data related to your events, are considered as private and shall under no circumstances be communicated to, sold to, rented to or exchanged with third-parties without your prior consent.

    However, GuestBooster may be required to communicate certain information in the context of legal requisitions.

  6. Right to access, rectify and delete

    In accordance with the law of 8 December 1992 on the protection of privacy in relation to the processing of personal data, you have a right to access, rectify or delete the Personal data relating to you, stored by GuestBooster.

    You can access all your personal information from your personal space.

  7. Storage of your data

    GuestBooster shall store your Personal data at least until the deactivation of your account. After this, GuestBooster can store your Personal data for a period of 1 year.
